The Stephen Akuma Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation (SAGCO) and Stephen Akuma Network (SAN) jointly wish to thank everyone who contributed in one way or the other in support of the struggle for the actualisation of a ‘Greater Benue’. We indeed appreciate your unquantifiable support in the various categories, viz; financially, morally, intellectually and prayers to the noble course since 2017.

Our doggedness through the journey was borne out of your solid stance behind us. With your stoic support, our resilience was thickened despite the pressure on us to give up. For your commitment for the realisation of good governance in Benue, we saw the desire of a generation of people we cannot afford to betray. That helped in sharpening in us the capacity, character, honesty, discipline, forthrightness and consistency to sustain the tempo.

While on the journey, we were not oblivious of the fact that the office of the governor has only one occupant at a time hence our belief that victory at the polls was not a do or die affair. Therefore, we acknowledge the fact that the electoral process has produced a winner and we must respect the constitutionality of his emergence, in as much as we leave its credibility to be adjudged by the CONSCIENCE of the Benue people and posterity.

Our special commendation goes out to the teeming number of young men and women who in spite of their lean resources, opted to offer themselves as fountains from which our strength was drawn while the journey lasted. We sincerely commend your effort and perseverance in the course of the great fight. You made the herculean task of persecuting the electioneering campaign a relatively easy one for us.

Dear Comrades, we wish to reiterate that as a revolutionary movement aimed at bridging the gap between the establishment and a new breed of leadership with the desire for enthronement of good governance, we may have lost the elections but the dream is not defeated. Therefore, the Stephen Akuma Network (SAN) has come to stay! We will continue to work towards a greater Benue and indeed, a greater Nigeria.

Words cannot express our profound gratitude for your efforts. Thank you and may the good Lord bless you all.
